This year I played soccer for my J.V. team. I came on the team as
a seventh grader and I was treated with a lot of disrespect due to my age! I had a lot of pain all throughout the season. All of the girls looked down on me therefore I looked down on myself. I went into a kind of depression.
It was a tough time for me! Finally I went looking on the web for some means of inspiration and I came across your page! I read some of the poems and I immediateley realized I didn't have it bad at all. So I got my act together and I started practicing really hard to not only be the best person I could be but also to be the best soccer player! When the season started I scored the first two goals of the first game. My teammates really started to look up to me by then. I ended up scoring a total of eleven goals that season. After the season was over I got voted MVP by the coaches and the most amazing thing of all I got voted MVP by my teammates! So in the end what I thought was going to be the worst time of my life turned out to be the best! All because of a little inspiration form your page! Now I have more respect than ever and most of all more friends, so now I hope if I ever have anything like that happen again, I have friends to count on!
So in the end I just want to tell everybody that just remember, you don't have it as bad as some! If you can't find inspiration through friends then go looking for it somewhere else, because believe me i is there! I hope that this will inspire someone to to go out and make the best of their life! Because I now know that is what I am going to do with mine!
