SCATTERED DREAMS
The future is so distant... hopes and dreams like smoke in the wind. If only... That dim light in my misty tunnel would grow brighter... and life would take on new meaning. Vanity... vanity... all is vanity. Where is that spark that once used to be? Life goes on in a dizzy viscousness that leaves one spinning out of control like tree leaves plucked by the whirlwind of life that speeds on endlessly... nowhere... somewhere... anywhere! How endless it all seems... not knowing the unknown... yet one stumble forward... sideways... and yes... backwards with little or no gain... yet the motions continue... and continue... but why... what direction... that is the question... what purpose... how long must this illusive dream br pursued... to what end... I'm so very tired... yet I'm told to push on... reach for that golden ring! by: Larry J. Huisingh April 20, 1996
