My Mom

My mom says we have very similar lives, her and I.  I guess that is why I have always been close to her.  It seems that she is the only one I can trust sometimes. She has had a very hard life, first, her head injury, then her divorce and yet no person or thing has stopped her. She is someone that I look up to. Some people ask me who my hero is and all I can think of is my mom, because she has been through so much and is always willing to and wanting to help people without question. I sometimes wonder what it would be like to have a mother without a head injury but when I do I can't think of anything I would want to change about her.
I think she is perfect just the way she is, and I think that some of us take life for granted, but believe me life can change in a split second.
